The Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (University of Luxembourg) has a job opening for a Post-doctoral position on project in 20th Century European History:

Post-doc in Contemporary European History (m/f)

  • Fixed-term contract 3 years (with possibility of prolongation)
  • Full-time position (40h/week)

  • Earliest starting date November: 1st, 2019
Your Role

– conduct a clear defined research project with a strong focus on comparative, transnational or international history

– expand the international network of the C2DH

– raise third-party funds

– teaching at BA or MA level (60 hours a year)

  • PhD in Contemporary History
  • Very good track record of publications in relevant peer reviewed journals
  • Participation in collaborative and interdisciplinary research projects
  • Experience in writing grant proposals
  • Active knowledge in English and in either German or French
